I like your approach on this subject. I'm not sure if I've heard it anywhere else.

To wit: it really doesn't matter the source of warming, manmade or natural, or the proportions of each. The EFFECTS will be so unpleasant that sensible methods to mitigate it can be justified.

Thanks. I've found it interesting that the public "debate" has focused on who or what's at fault. Tax incentives have been an effective method to encourage cleaner fuels and more efficient (and less polluting) use of fossil fuels in other countries. It makes sense to me that if the US Politicians would simply move on from the argument to something like that, we'd see some changes.

On a personal level, it breaks my heart to watch our home being destroyed for nothing more than greed.
